- You may remember a while ago I posted about a problem I was/am having getting
- a Courier DS to answer the phone and determine weather the call is DATA or
- FAX. Here's the anoying capture:
-
- This is what the software will send to the modem except that *I* am typing
- it from a terminal:

- Link Timeouts 0 Link Naks 0
-
- Data Compression NONE
- Equalization Long
- Fallback Disabled
- Last Call 00:00:00
-
- No Connection
- OK
- <= If you don't reset the modem with atz before doing this it will remember the
- information from the last connection and the *real* reason for the disconnect
- will not be shown. =>

- atz

- at+fclass=2.0
- OK
- at+_faa=1

- I am using AmigaFax 1.42 under AmigaDOS 3.1 as if it mattered.
- Any ideas how to get the modem to answer the phone? The software in its
- current form relies on ATS0 to answer the phone and I can not change that.
